With having concluded a very memorable and successful Photo Workshop at Snowbird Ski and Summer Resort, it’s time to show off some of the work this year’s participants put up on the wall. This years turnout was great and though the weather outside didn’t favor the weekend with sunshine, each participant was still able to flex their skill muscle in their shoots proving that even with overcast parking overhead that there is no such thing as bad lighting.

Another Incredible Winter X Games

SMP x Winter X Games 2012

I just returned from another incredible Winter X Games in Aspen, CO. Every year these athletes showcase the most incredible feats in action sports, pushing themselves to higher and higher levels and performing tricks that seemed impossible only a few years ago. From Bobby Brown‘s and Tom Wallish‘s flawless runs in Big Air and Slopestyle to the incredibly stacked field in the Superpipe, the level of competition was really inspiring. Tucker Perkins said it well in his quote to National Geographic Adventure,” [Sarah Burke] would have wanted us to ski our hearts out at this event. We all did it for her.” In the spirit of Sarah, everyone did ski their hearts and put on an incredible show.

I don’t usually alter my images much, but I thought it would be fun to play around and experiment with some of my X Games shots, and here’s what I came up with. I would love to see your comments.
