It’s a wrap! The results for the Scott Markewitz Workshop Photo Contest are in, and the winners are:
1st place – Micheal Kishelev, with a great action shot of Mark Kogelmann slashing a tree in Mineral Basin.

2nd place – Michael Kishelev, again with another nice shot of Mark Kogelmann dropping a cliff in the Cirque.
3rd Place – Parker Loomis, with a killer shot of Mark Kogelmann slashing some powder in Mineral Basin.
For his first and second place images, Michael will receive a Dakine camera pack and a Sun Sniper camera strap. For his third place image, Parker Loomis will receive a Sun Sniper camera strap. Congratulations to you and to the rest of the photographers who signed up for the workshop and devoted their energies to 3 days of intensive photography, editing and creative development. We had great conditions to shoot with and it was a lot of fun working with all of you.
It looks like Mark Kogelmann has a lot of fans and did a great job getting the word out about the contest, but I want to thank all of the incredible athletes who came out and rode for us during the workshop – Shannan Yates, Jeremy Tidwell, McKenna Peterson, Vanessa Aadland, Dylan Crossman, Eric Fabbri, Dillon Green, Eric Balken, and Marvin Howard. Your talent and positive attitude makes all the difference in getting great shots.
I also want to give a big thanks to Snowbird Ski and Summer Resort for hosting the workshop for the fourth year in a row and to the Broncolor, Hasselblad, Fstop, and Pocket Wizard for their continued support.
I’m looking forward to another great workshop next year!
